CIC acquires second wind farm project in the Netherlands

Hamburg, October 11, 2021 – Connected Infrastructure Capital (“CIC”) is expanding its wind farm portfolio in the Netherlands. The purchase of the Amsterdam-based wind farm Noordzeeweg was completed on October 1, 2021.

The wind farm consists of four Vestas V 90 wind turbines and has a total installed capacity of 8.8 MW. The wind farm was commissioned in summer 2020.

The transaction was completed as part of a share deal. The buyer is a Dutch subsidiary of CIC. The company acquired 100% of the shares.

After acquiring ECN Wind Energy Facilities B.V. in Wieringermeer last year, this is the second transaction on the Dutch market within a year.
